Early 1900’s Conway upright piano. Pulled out of a local Vermont Church where it was played from the time it was brand new. They decided on a newer model rather than pay for updates to the Conway. Have owned it since 2008 and it has held tune very well, considering we never had it tuned ourselves! Much of the ivory has come loose but we saved all the pieces so I assume they can be re-glued onto the keys. The kids labeled some keys in pencil but that can also be cleaned up.
The piano is on the first floor. It has small caster wheels but must be lifted onto a better moving cart. Otherwise the wheels will dig into our softwood floors. There are two, wide stone steps to go down out the front door. There are a series of wood deck stairs to navigate out the back door, totaling six steps down. Both exits would require laying down plywood to even out the walkway surfaces, more so out front.
