Mr. S. W. Raudenbush worked at the large W. W. Kimball Piano Company for several years before starting his own firm in Rockford, IL 1883. Soon after, Mr. Raudenbush moved operations to Minnesota in search of a more suitable climate for his health. The Raudenbush factory was located at University & Pillsbury Street, St. Paul. After the turn-of-the-century, sons W. R. Raudenbush & F. M. Raudenbush joined the firm. Pianos were built under the “Raudenbush & Sons” brand name as well as the “Garland” and “Wesley” brand names. S. W. Raudenbush was known for building high quality pianos, offering a full line of upright pianos, player pianos and and baby grand pianos. The Raudenbush firm went out of business during The Great Depression.

This piano is in fair condition. It plays fine, but the left (una corda) pedal is missing. It has dings and scratches of age, and one caster is bent (broken).

Moving will be paid for by the RECIPIENT, although we may be willing to contribute a small share to the moving cost. That is negotiable.
